First we rode bikes Daddy had to go visit the potty at Kroger so he missed most of the bike fun.
Then we played softball.

Then we hunted for squirrel and bird houses and watched the ducks.

Then we headed over to the play area.
Next, the girls and I sat in the grass and talked about all the beautiful things Jesus made for us. Including 4 leaf clovers that we searched for but never found.
Next we walked over to Sonic had some lunch. On the way back we found a apple tree and the girls got to eat apples right off the tree for the first time. They weren't big fans but I loved them.
After lunch we went back to the ducks and fed them a snack.
Then we collected a bunch of acorns to put in our backyard to feed our squirrels. It was so amazing, relaxing and just simple fun. The kind of fun I so often forget to stop and appreciate and have. I'm trying to remind myself to stop and enjoy the simple pleasures in life and being with my family is the simplest and most fulfilling pleasure. Now it's time for naps :-)

This reminded me of some of the wonderful memories of Christy's childhood. Remember that taking time to stop and smell the roses (or hunt for squirrels) is always worthwhile, what a blessing! NANA
Pancakes will do that to ya, make you go to the bathroom I mean. Great pics! I love swinging like that with Emma, the other day she told me she didn't want to hurt my scar, from the C-section. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun!!
